What is an actuator operated high-pressure globe valve?
In high-pressure applications, the challenge is to maintain the valve’s flow-directional sealing, as the pressure difference between the plug and seat can be up to several hundred bars. In control applications it is important that the pressure drop within the valve is controlled and staged. This can be achieved, for example, by using a stepped cascade controller.
Selection of an actuator operated high-pressure globe
We assist in selecting and sizing the appropriate actuator-operated high-pressure valve, taking into account the requirements of the application. Our range covers high-pressure control valves with pressure differentials of up to 560 bar.
Actuator-operated high-pressure valves are suitable for both shut-off and control applications and are available in 2-way and 3-way configurations.
2-way valves are available in straight, angled, or Z-configurations depending on the process pressure differential and the required pressure steps.
High-pressure valves can be equipped with pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators. Positioners, feedback switches, and limit switches are available as accessories.
