What is a pressure gauge valve?

Pressure gauge valves and instrument valves are shut-off valves. For example, a pressure gauge valve is installed in a pipeline as the shut-off valve for a pressure gauge. The DIN classification for gauge valves is up to 120 degrees Celsius. Very generally, at temperatures above this, a water lock pipe is installed in the pipeline before the pressure gauge valve.

Selection of a pressure gauge valve

Pressure gauge valves come in various types, but generally they are supplied with or without a check flange. A model equipped with a check flange, so-called engineer valve, is intended for applications where an external inspector can quickly check the system pressure with their own pressure gauge.

We assist in selecting pressure gauge valves and instrument valves according to the requirements of the application. Ask our contact persons for more information.
