What is a solenoid valve?

Solenoid valves are used to control pneumatic actuators as well as process valves. They are either direct acting, pilot-operated, or operate with forced pilot control.

A pilot-operated valve allows for higher capacities than a direct acting solenoid valve. Forced pilot control is suitable for applications with low line pressure.

Choosing a Solenoid Valve

Solenoid valves are available in different voltage types, AC and DC, two-, three-, or four-way configurations. The valve bodies are made of aluminum, brass, and acid-resistant steel.

Our range includes all the electrical approvals required by the industry to use the valve in explosive atmospheres.

Solenoid valves are suitable for air, water, oil, and steam.
