Konwell’s Sustainability Report 2025 – First steps towards systematic sustainability

A significant part of our sustainability is to help our industrial customers improve their energy efficiency, reduce emissions and build competitiveness in a sustainable way.

Konwell’s VSME sustainability report 2025

Our 2025 sustainability report, prepared in accordance with the VSME standard, brings together key information on Konwell’s environmental, social and governance matters for the first time, as well as the next steps in developing our sustainability efforts.

During the reporting period, we conducted our first comprehensive Scope 1–3 emissions assessment, strengthened our environmental management through an ISO 14001-certified system, and developed our practices to support employee well-being, safety and equality.

Key findings from the sustainability report

Konwell’s 2025 Sustainability Report highlights the following key findings:

  • Our first comprehensive greenhouse gas emissions assessment established a foundation for systematic climate action.
  • Most of our emissions impact originates in the supply chain, helping us focus future development efforts where we have the greatest potential to make a difference.
  • Occupational safety remained at an excellent level, with no accidents during the reporting period.
  • Our Energia-avain (Energy key) concept helps customers identify tangible energy savings, reduce costs and lower emissions.
  • This report marks the beginning of a more systematic approach to sustainability. It provides a transparent view of where we stand today and the direction in which we are developing our operations together with our customers, employees and partners.
